Many exams happen every year, but students seem crazy about the IIT JEE. It is conducted every year for the students who dream of becoming an engineer. All the top engineering colleges and universities of India come under IIT JEE. Students getting top ranks get the chance to study in top colleges of India, whereas students with fewer ranks get colleges according to their scores.
But some students fail or are not able to qualify for the exam. For s ch students, I will be listing some of the essential tips to crack IIT JEE –
- Know the syllabus and have a study plan ready
Students preparing for IIT JEE should, first of all, gather all the syllabus and make a study plan accordingly. Yes! Preparing all the syllabus will give you an idea of the portion you have to complete to crack the examination. What’s the weightage of all the chapters coming in the examination? Etc. Knowing g the syllabus is also essential to make a study plan according to it. It would help if you made a study plan according to your time and daily schedule. Try to complete high-weightage chapters and easy chapters first.
- Understanding concepts and practice is the key
To crack any examination, you need to clear your concept and give every subject equal importance—you have to show your hard work and dedication. When cracking IIT JEE, you need to be consistent with your practice. You h ve to learn physics, solve maths tricky questions and read class 11 chemistry and 12th chemistry thoroughly. You did not leave any topics or subjects because you can’t say which topics the question will be asked. Practice as much as you can and try to give your 100% because hard work is the key to success.
- Avoid reading multiple books
Some children complain of being able to crack exams despite so much labor. One o the reasons behind this could be reading from multiple books of different authors. Diff ent people will have different ways of thinking and solving the questions. Reading other books might confuse you. So! Instead of solving multiple books, try to stick to one book. NCERT is the most preferred one. You can also practice MCQs from any book of your choice, which you think is the best, and give you a clear concept of the questions.
- Clear your doubts regularly
It’s normal to have a doubt and in fact, having a doubt indicates that you are studying. While reading books or solving questions, you may come across many points or questions you have no idea. Instead of neglecting the issues, try to note down the areas where you are facing trouble and try to clear your doubts from your teachers, friends, or any family member who has the idea to solve it. It will help you to get a good score in your exam.
- Revise, again and again
To succeed in the examination, you need to practice as much as you can. Practice makes a man perfect. Students tend to forget things, but if you practice repeatedly, you will be able to retain things for a much longer time. You can make notes to read from them instead of reading the whole book easily. Try t solve math questions as much as you can, and this will help you have a command over the subjects.

Not being able to crack the exams doesn’t mean that the student is not capable enough. There might be some fault in their preparation techniques. Crac ng IIT JEE is not difficult when you prepare with the right strategy. Follow the tips mentioned above to score a good rank in IIT JEE.
